Logo Branding

Alter a logo to reflect your personal feelings about a company

Step 1: Primary & Alternative Logos

Take a look at this site to get a better understanding of what branding is and what is needed to develop a primary logo.


Step 2: Personal Statement & Digital Sketching

Begin by writing a short paragraph about yourself as a designer. Talk about what type of work you like to do as well as your personal style in that work. Then develop four different digital sketches in Illustrator that reflects on you as a designer. Each digital sketch should be drawn up as a full primary logo and include all information from step 1.

Step 3: Develop Secondary & Alternative Logos

Once you have a completed primary logo, begin to develop secondary logos, favicon's & alternative logos. The secondary logo & favicon should be stripped down version's of the primary logo that are designed for a purpose. (Example) The alternative logo will serve as fun way's to promote your brand using similar style. (Example)


Step 4: Logo Mock Up

Take your completed logos and place them on different objects that can be used to promote your brand.
