During the first section of the course we will gain an understanding of how Illustrator works as well as how to use some of the basic drawing tools.

During this section of the course we will apply what we learned about the program to larger design & production projects. We'll learn more about formating files for output and how the machines in the lab work.

At the start of the spring semester we will begin exploring Photoshop and how to create basic selections and masks to manipulate imagery.
