Movie Merge

Take two different movies or TV shows. Imagine you're blending them together. Create a new poster idea that uses the main ideas from both movies but combines them into a single style.

Step 1: Brainstorming

Fill out this form to present your ideas to the teacher. This form must be filled out or your project may be denied even if it is completed.

Rules and Tips:

1. A shared word between the two titles is required.

(Dodgeball + Balls of Fury = Dodgeballs of Fury)

(Dark Knight + Night at the Museum = Dark Knight at the Museum)

2. Use IMDB as a source to brainstorm TV and movie titles that work together

(Type in one word from a movie and IMDB will list all the other titles that have that word in it. Be sure to set the search engine for titles.)

3. Nothing animated can be used.

4. Choose movie titles from different genres. We don't want a zombie poster combined with another zombie poster. (Walking Dead & Dead Rising)

5. Develop at least three different titles that work and represent them as shown below.

(Title 1 + Title 2 = Merged Title)

Step 2: Project Completion Complete your movie merge project.

Step 3: Presentation

Develop your slideshow presentation to show how the project was completed.
