Selecting & Masking
Selections and masking are the most important aspect of Photoshop. Any filter, effect or alteration that can be made begins with a quality selection and mask.
As we continue to explore the different types of selection tools in Photoshop it is important that we are using layer masks along with our selections so that we are using non-destructive editing. This means we are easily able to go back and edit any of the work we have done because we have not gotten rid of any part of the image. The selections video can be found below while information on creating masks can be found here.

Assignment 1: Create an appropriate selection for images 1-3 and apply a mask to them. Then save each image as a .PSD file. Once each image has a selection with a mask drag them onto image 4. Resize and place them in a unique fashion.
Assignment 2: Edit the layer mask so that the first person is selected better while adding the other two people to the image with the background still being removed. Be sure to edit the original mask, do not create a new one.
